Q: What happens if an article gets taken down from the publisher’s website?

The article is going to be kept on Authory’s servers, so even if the original article is taken down, you’ll have access through it in your Authory profile. Of course, you can also download the saved content to your own computer anytime.


Q: What does Authory cost?

Authory starts at $8 per month, but comes with a free trial for the first 14 days. Regardless of whether you continue using Authory or not, you can download all your backed up content & save it on your own drive.


Q: Do I need any tech skills to create an Authory profile?

Nope! Creating a profile on Authory is extremely simple. All you have to do is sign up and include the links to the websites you’ve previously published content on (e.g. nytimes.com). Then, our software will automatically create your Authory account and backup your articles.


Q: What about articles behind a paywall?

Usually that's not a problem. Authory can get articles from all soft/metered paywalls and from more than 95% of all hard paywalls. So the chances are more than good that we can get fetch your articles, even if you yourself don't have access anymore.
