Expertise

My current focus is on men's health, male socialization, and masculinity. I previously concentrated my reporting on women's health.

About

I am a freelance journalist based in Philadelphia. My work has appeared in The Washington Post, National Geographic, MEL Magazine and other publications. I write about the ways gender and health shape our lives. When I’m not writing, you can find me traveling the world or getting lost in a good book.

Advocacy

I also help tell the story of Adama Jarju, a student from The Gambia whose journey to college took nearly a decade. Through his newsletter, The College Dream, we share stories and reflections from his experience studying abroad and the extraordinary power of an education.

Education

Bachelor of Arts and Sciences (B.A.S.) in Communications with a concentration in Gender Studies, The George Washington University
